On Saturday, 1 CRPF personnel were killed during the Naxal attack in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. The Naxal looted the arms n ambushed their patrol party in Maoist hotbed in the State. 12 people were killed and other 4 jawans got injured in the attack out of which two of them are an aid to be in very critical position. The attack took place in the dense forests near the Kottacheru Village under Bhejji Police Station. Almost around 450 km away from the State Capital the road opening task took place at around 9.15 AM on Saturday where almost 112 jawans of the CRPF’s 210th battalion were present at the moment.

PM Modi to stock the situation!
One of the CRPF head, DG Sudeep Lakhtakia described saying, “The troops were part of the road clearing party that has been securing an under- construction road between Bhejji and Kottacheru. They were ambushed by Naxal who set off multiple hidden IED’s on the ground and opened fire. The squad effusively retaliated before twelve made the supreme sacrifice.” The entire matter came in front of the PM Modi and he spoke to the Home Minister Rajnath Singh who will be soon traveling to Sukma to get the stock of the situation.
The normal people living in the area of attack got disturbed when the Central Reserve Police Force has increased their presence at the spot. The area and state are in the high red alert mode. The entire act of incident at Sukma was called to be a cowardly act by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Raman Singh.
